Research Initiative „Neue Bahntechnik Paderborn“

The „Neue Bahntechnik Paderborn“ (NBP – New Rail Technology Paderborn) is a research initiative founded at the University of Paderborn in 1997 with the aim to develop a novel, innovative traffic system for the mobility of tomorrow. Researchers, scholars and students from as many as seven chairs, among them mechanical and electrical engineers, economists, and information scientists, do interdisciplinary research on the railway system of the future. The research initiative „Neue Bahntechnik Paderborn“ integrates the following departments of the University of Paderborn:
